Latvia Culture & Literature

Latvia Culture & Literature

The Republic of Latvia boasts of a unique culture and literature.
The people of this beautiful Baltic State are strongly rooted to their soils even as they also side-by-side seem to be much influenced by the neighboring Baltic states of Europe—especially Lithuania.

Latvian folklore and the natives play the most decisive role in shaping and defining the distinct culture of the country. The Latvians boast of an impressive heritage of long-established folklore--more so folk songs. To their credit, they have more than 1.2 million texts besides 30,000 melodies of folk songs, with a history of more than 1000 years.

Earlier, the Latvians were atheists. However, post the arrival of the Christianity religion on the Latvian shores, almost the entire populace of the nation has become firm believers of Christianity. Interestingly, the many Christian customs and rituals currently followed in the country are closely related with some of the widely practiced, centuries-old customs of the nation.

The culture of the country also seems to be much influenced by the Latvian ancestors who were chiefly fighters and sang ballads during wars and battles. These songs are still a part of the unique Latvian culture even as these mythical songs have an exclusive history to tell.

Latvia Culture
The nation has also produced some renowned painters with Janis Rozenntals being the most famous one. The language of the country, the Latvian, is one of the two surviving Indo-European languages in this part of the world. Nearly 50% of the total populace of this North European country speaks it as its primary language—the reason being there exist a plethora of dialects across the western and the eastern regions of the nation.

Significantly, all the seven big cities of the country have more Russians vis-à-vis the Latvians. The people are usually good travelers with close to a quarter of a million of them having moved overseas--mainly to the top world destinations of Canada, the US, Germany, Australia, and England. The dietary habit of the Latvians is not much different from the one found across its neighboring nations. While dairy products, eggs, potatoes, and grains are consumed with much enthusiasm, smoked foods are also much favored across the country.

Latvia Literature
Literature plays a key role in shaping the culture of the country. Unwritten Latvian literature--the basis of which is superstitious facts and stories is a unique facet of the Latvian literature which is rather rich. During 1888, the epical poem, called Lacplesis--which means the Bear Slayer, and which seems to be inspired by traditional folk stories--attracted wide-scale popularity even as it marked the herald of the literature of the country.
Janis Rainis is the most important personality in the Latvian literature even while the written verses of the country, by and large, are brief and lyrical.

services of an Authorized Representative given by STALLION IMMIGRATION

Question: Why do I need the services of an Authorized Representative and what value addition can be given by STALLION IMMIGRATION PVT LTD?

Answer:

Services of an authorized representative are critically important. There would be situations where Citizenship and

Immigration Canada might disagree with the submitted documents or information; they may have queries related to application that require appropriate legal response. Only an authorized representative is permitted to act on your behalf. Canadian Government will not deal with an agent/representative who does not meet the definition of an "Authorized Representative". An immigration agent who does not qualify to be an authorized representative is doing no value addition but is instead typing application forms and filling in the relevant NOC. He/she is not qualified to represent you in any manner.

There is another fraud being played by many immigration consultants. While there sites offer information that they are providing services of an authorized representative for Canada, there is a special fee in that case. For the NORMAL fee that they charge, these immigration consultants do NOT provide services of an authorized

representative. So you MUST confirm from the consultant that the fee you are paying includes services of authorized representative. A sure way of knowing that will be whether they are getting a IMM 5476E form signed from you or not and whose communication address are they offering. If they are not getting the IMM 5476E form signed and they are giving YOUR home communication address (postal and email) then they are not likely to be offering services of an authorized representative.

Immigrating to Lithuania

Immigrating to Lithuania

This Baltic state has been witnessing a phenomenal growth over past few years and is reckoned as one of the most rapidly prospering economies of EU. Although this destination is yet so popular with Pakistanis, but nevertheless many Pakistan migration aspirations have started realizing benefits of emigrating to this relatively young economy with a lot of potential for development.
Process of immigration to this country starts with filing for provisional residence permission - TRP. TRP enables a foreign citizen (Non-EU citizens) to reside in Lithuania on provisional basis for a term specified on visa document or one year.

Procuring a Lithuanian TRP is quite easy as compared to other EU nations as you do not need to possess considerable work exposure or any specific trade qualification sy to be eligible for TRP. But it is desired in general that you must have a good academic record and qualifications along with appropriate linguistic skills in English.
As per section 40 of statutes on legal standing of foreigners in Lithuania TRP is usually awarded in cases where a foreign citizen
·       Continues to maintain eligibility for citizenship of Lithuania (section 41)
·       Wishes to reunite with family (section43)
·       Gain employment in the country (section 44)

·       Wishes to establish business in legal and permitted activities (section 45)
·       Aims undertake an academic course in Lithuania (section 46)
·       Is under guardianship (section 47)
·       Has been an affected party in human trafficking racket and is assisting authorities in ongoing investigations or in battling menace of human trafficking (Para1 of section 49)
·       Wishes to conduct scientific research (Para 2 of section 49)
·       Is under secondary or provisional protecting in Lithuania
·       Is not able to leave country on basis of health issues
·       Cannot be expatriated from Lithuania
It is essential here that a migrant must obtain a residence permission before entering the country. Permission is granted by migration department functioning under Ministry of interior. It usually takes upto a maximum of
·       6 months for processing and deciding on a TRP request
·       4 months in case you hold a long tenure residential permission of another EU member
Renewal of TRP must be filed atleast 60 days (maximum upto 120 days in advance) before the expiry of provisional visa. The decision to renew the provisional permission is awarded with 2 months of filing such a request. It must be clearly understood here that failure to use the permission within 3 months of grant or renewal of TRP results in invalidation of issued permission.

A migrant can advance to file for permanent residence permission (PRP) beyond 5 years of uninterrupted residence in Lithuania. Renewable PPR is awarded for a period of 5 years.  There are certain preliminaries that a migrant must fulfill while requesting for a PR including substantiating
·       Linguistic skills in Lithuanian Language
·       Confirming to Schengen border entry norms
·       Financial credentials to finance residence in Lithuania etc.
