Hong Kong as an Immigration Destination!

Hong Kong as an Immigration Destination!

Hong Kong is often touted as one of the most vibrant cities in Asia, as well as in the world. The city has all the amenities to follow in the footsteps with any of the big and advanced cities across the globe. Predominated by Chinese culture, it has its own charm which often allures people to come and enjoy the city and even stay back for years or even forever!

Once a British colony, Hong Kong became a part of the People`s Republic of China in 1997. This Special Administrative Region is the commercial hub of the country. And over the years, Hong Kong has proved that it is also one of the most attractive Asian
immigration destinations. There are numerous reasons behind this popularity.

Hong Kong is one of the world financial hubs in the present times. Being a financial center means enormous business prospects and employment opportunities. These opportunities are available for insiders and outsiders alike.
Career prospects are one of those reasons that make Hong Kong popular among world population.

Today, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated regions on the globe and is inhibited by people from across the world. It has established itself as a prominent destination for tourists, as well as business visitors. It is a proven land of opportunity, which is why people flock, even from mainland China to lead a better life. Over the years, Hong Kong has beaten other Chinese commercial centers like Shanghai in popularity. World immigrants took a note of it. Business visitors came and the charm of the city held them back. The city`s economic as well as political stability, coupled with distinctive tax regime, legislative system and employment opportunities are critical in attracting people to make Hong Kong their home.

Hong Kong has a liberal immigration policy which allows visitors from nearly 170 countries and territories to enter without a visa for a period of up to 180 days. The city is always open to the idea of welcoming professionals and entrepreneurs who have the potential to contribute to its economy. People who wish to study, live and work in Hong Kong are required to have entry permits or visas.

Hong Kong also has a reputation of having a low crime rate. This is also one of the factors that make it a suitable place to be in, be it for their day-long visits, temporary stay or permanent settlement. The credit of
the low crime rate goes to the city`s straightforward law and order situation. Safety is an important aspect when it comes to moving to an all-new country to lead a better life. As far as cities like Hong Kong is concerned, issues like safety and security are almost guaranteed. This is almost evident through the number of immigrants that Hong Kong welcomes each year!

Application Process for Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS)
Hong Kong immigration experts at Stallion Immigration Pvt Ltd  cater to the entire application processing to all the clients interested to live and work in Hong Kong. For your convenience, we have delineated the application process as follows:

Selection of Applicants: As an applicant, you would be allotted to a particular quota of applicants. During the time of processing, you must meet all the prerequisites as well as clear all the individual requirements by scoring a minimum pass mark. This applies to both - the General Points Test and Achievement-based Points Test, wherein you need to obtain the one-point scoring factor.

You would then be ranked with all the other applicants based on your scores. If you are among the high ranking or scoring applicants, you would be short listed for further evaluation. Here, the decision would be taken by both the Director of Immigration as well as the Advisory Committee (members consist of official and non-official members selected by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR). You would be assessed based on the socio-economic needs of Hong Kong along with other relative factors. The Advisory Committee would then recommend the Director on the best way to go about the allocation of the quotas for each selection process. If you are a high scoring applicant, you might not need to be a part of the quota allotment. The final decision is then published on the website of the
 Immigration Department.

Approval-in-Principle: If you have been allotted a quota in the above step, you would be issued an approval letter. This is known as the Approval-in-Principle letter. You would then have to come to Hong Kong for an interview. You must present all their original documents with the Immigration Department. However, an Approval-in-Principle letter is not a visa and does not indicate a guaranteed entry or reside permanently in the nation.

Issuance of Entry Visa/Entry Permit: After all your documents have been verified to a satisfactory level, you would be issued an entry permit/entry visa under this scheme allowing you to live in Hong Kong.

We as your
immigrants consultants would keep you updated at all times regarding the various stages of the process. We would guide you accordingly at each step to make this phase completely hassle-free for you.
